How to Change the Theme in your Gmail Account

Welcome back!

Gmail recently introduced themes which seem to be an off-shoot from iGoogle to all its users. Here’s how you can change the default theme to one of the newer options provided by Gmail.

1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the Settings link in the upper right corner of your Gmail window.
3. Click on the new ‘Themes’ tab in your Settings window.
4. Select a Gmail theme of your choice. My choices are Shiny and Ninja. Just clicking on the Gmail theme of your choice will be applied to your account. Some theme options even ask you to enter the city closest to you.

If you want to go back to your default Gmail theme, that’s can be done too.Go back to the Themes tab within the Settings option and select the Classic Gmail Theme.
