Ding It’s Up – Get Twitter Updates Regarding Your Website’s Downtime

Here’s a service that notifies you on Twitter if your website is down or not. This might sound strange as there have been a lot of complaints about Twitter having a lot of downtime.

Ding It’s Up is one of the simplest online services we’ve come across in a while. Ding It’s Up alerts you via Twitter, SMS or email when a website goes down or when it comes back up.

How do I use Ding It’s Up?

  1. Specify how you’d like to be notified. They provide three options – Email, Text, or Twitter.
  2. Enter the URL of the website whose downtime’s you would like to monitor.
  3. Enter your Twitter ID, Email ID or mobile phone number as required.

Once you submit these information, this online service will send you a message when the website you want to monitor goes offline or comes back online.
