Check Disk Space Usage with TreeSize Free

Disk space usage can be of critical importance when you have the habit of storing things randomly. I didn’t realize which folder was guzzling all my hard disk space until I laid my hands on TreeSize Free.

TreeSize Free is a disk space usage analysis tool which displays a comparison of disk space occupied by folders and subfolders. It tells you how your disk space is being used and explains so statistically and graphically.

Features of TreeSize Free:

  • Can be started from the context menu of a folder or drive
  • Explorer-like interface
  • Multiple viewing options
  • Threaded scanning for instant results
  • Report generated based on your scan

There is also a Pro version available with additional features like graphical pie-charts.

TreeSize Free can be very useful if you were always looking for the culprit for your low disk space. I just figured out a random download folder which was occupying 65 GB of my precious hard disk space!
