How to use a bookmarklet?

A bookmarklet is a tiny piece of javascript code that can be placed in your Favorites, Bookmarks or Links in your Internet browser. The bookmarklet interacts with webpages to add additional features to them or to perform some tasks.

How to use a bookmarklet?

  • Drag the bookmarklet from its source page on to the
    • Links menu
    • Favorites menu
    • Bookmark menu
  • Click on the bookmarklet when you are on the appropriate page

  • You can read about Twitter DM Whacker bookmarklet here
  • Drag it from its source page to the links/favorites/bookmarks menu
  • Login to Twitter.com(the page where this bookmarklet works)
  • Click on the DM Whacker bookmarklet and you’ll see an addition to the Twitter Dashboard
